Bible School
To go deeper in the Bible and higher in God
What is the FGAC Bible School?
The FGAC Bible School feeds the people of God from the bounty He has provided in His Word. A healthy diet in the Bible is vital for spiritual, personal and church growth, and it is our purpose to supply that diet. We understand that it is not enough to simply know God’s Word. The Word is one of the foremost ways we can come to know its Author.
This is why the working mission of the Bible School is: To go deeper in the Bible and higher in God and by doing so be equipped for service in the mission of His church.
The FGAC Bible School is located in Burleigh West on the Gold Coast Queenland and is in its 3rd year of ministry.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Commitment is Required?
- Offers weekly teaching spread over two years.
- Teaches only during public schools’ term time.
- Divides its content into four modules. To complete the course, students need to complete all four modules, although these can be done at the student’s own pace.
- The first module, Foundations of Biblical Study, is a prerequisite* for going on to further Bible study with us. (*There is flexibility for circumstances and advanced prior learning)
- There is an expectation that students, once enrolled, will complete at least the module they have begun.
Is There A Cost?
The Bible School does not charge for its teaching – it is completely free. We also welcome students to make donations towards helping with the running costs of the School.
WHEN AND WHERE IS IT HELD?
Modules 2,3,4: will be on Monday nights 7pm-9pm. Module 2 will start in semester 1, on 3 Feb 2025
Module 1: will be on Tuesday nights 7-9pm, and will start in semester 1 on 4 Feb 2025. Module 1 may repeat each semester.
Classes are held at: 5Space, 50 Township Drive, West Burleigh, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia – Map
DOES THE COURSE INVOLVE COURSEWORK?
There is an essay and a student presentation to be completed for each of the four modules, but this coursework is optional. It is strongly recommended that students complete the coursework however, as this is where much of a student’s learning comes from. In addition, it is expected that the course may become accredited to Certificate level in the medium term, and Registered Previous Learning (RPL) will not be available if the coursework is not completed.
IS THE COURSE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE?
Yes! The course is available to anyone on the Gold Coast, and not any one particular church. It is the Bible School’s mission to help build the kingdom of God on the Gold Coast, and we are an independent body set up to do that. We currently have students whose ages range from 15 to 80, who come from various churches, and who live in all parts of the Gold Coast/Tweed.
Is THE COURSE ACCREDITED?
The FGAC Bible School does not currently issue formal Certificates and Diplomas. We nevertheless teach our course cognisant of what the official standards are. We aim to teach theology at the Queensland Gov’t Certificate Level 4 standard.
IS THE COURSE AVAILABLE ONLINE?
No. We believe that there is tremendous benefit when students and teachers come together and get to know each other face to face, and freely exchange views and experience. Online learning is limited in this way. We plan to retain this personal approach into the foreseeable future.
WHEN DOES IT COMMENCE & HOW DO I ENROL?
The Bible school commences in the first week of February.
